I absolutely love the bottle. There is zero aftertaste or smell. The bottle tastes the same as drinking water out of glass, while obviously being much lighter and less fragile than a glass bottle. The simplicity of the design is also very pleasing. Only possible negative to be aware of is that the rim you drink from is exposed even with the stopper screwed in place--albeit protect by a little horizontal overhang. You might not want to throw the bottle into a bag with dirty clothes or other unsanitary fabrics if these could rub against the part you put your lips on. If you carry it in a bottle cage, there is no issue. (Other models look like they have a cap that covers the rim, so just choose another model of that is of concern to you )
