Sustainable baskets in Murcia

As every year, on September 8th the 3x3 basketball tournament organized by Astrapace took place at Plaza de la Merced in Murcia. This association, dedicated to the care and treatment of people with cerebral palsy and similar conditions, offered us a day full of excitement and competition among the participating teams.

But the event was not just about basketball. It also highlighted a commitment to important values like sustainability and community support. At LAKEN, we are delighted to have collaborated on this special event. We donated aluminum bottles, emphasizing our effort to reduce single-use plastics and promote greener alternatives. Each bottle helped keep participants hydrated and reaffirmed our commitment to the environment.

Plaza de la Merced buzzed with the energy of the teams and the excitement of the locals surrounding it. It was a great opportunity to bring the community together, support a noble cause, and show that fun and sustainability can go hand in hand.
